What eye treatments do you offer?

You can find out about all the different types of procedure we offer on our treatments page.

How much does laser eye surgery cost?

This is one of our most common enquiries. It’s important to remember that going with the cheapest laser eye treatment you can find is not necessarily what’s going to be best for your eyes, or give you the best results or aftercare.

We believe in being transparent about the cost of laser eye surgery, so we’ve outlined everything on our pricing page. Generally speaking, laser eye treatment costs £1,450 for one eye, or £2,900 for both.

Will the treatment hurt?

Patient care is at the heart of everything we do, and at your consultation you’ll get the chance to meet your surgeon and talk through any concerns. Generally all our treatments are pain-free, although depending what type of treatment you have, you may experience some discomfort during or following your procedure.

How do I know it’s safe?

Combined, our experienced surgeons carry out approximately 2,000 eye procedures every year. In total they have carried out over 20,000 eye surgeries between them, so you can be sure you are in safe hands.

We’re also the only laser eye centre in Scotland to be fully regulated by Health Improvement Scotland’s Healthcare Environment Inspectorate (HIS HEI), and our surgeons are regulated and revalidated by the General Medical Council. Find out more about us.

Where can I get my treatment done?

We have centres in Glasgow and Edinburgh, and we also offer consultations in Stirling. Contact us to book an appointment.

Can I get my treatment for free on the NHS?

Not all the treatments we offer are available on the NHS, and for those that are, waiting times can be long. With Laser Vision Scotland you’ll enjoy bespoke and efficient service, with the highest level of care and appointments that fit into your other commitments.
