Oculoplastics Update (Ref: S-32924)
Title: Interactive clinical lecture with discussion workshop for Optometrists

You are invited to attend a 60-90 minute update on the assessment, pattern recognition and diagnosis of common oculoplastic and lacrimal disorders.
The format is an interactive lecture with opportunity for questions throughout, and a 30-60 minute discussion after where members of the audience can ask questions about oculoplastics and test their ability to think on their feet, and then add to their knowledge. This is a relaxed event where optometrists should feel comfortable to get involved, and focus on learning as much as possible in the time available. The lecture will include case discussion of locally seen and treated patients.
The main speaker is Consultant Ophthalmologist Mr Jonathan Ross. He will cover eyelid and lacrimal disorders with emphasis on assessment, pattern recognition and diagnosis.
The lecture will be based on up to date clinical practice and Mr Ross’s wealth of experience. Mr Jonathan Ross has been an oculoplastic surgeon for 10 years and attends national and regional educational meetings to ensure his knowledge is always up to the minute and well abreast of new research and clinical practice.
For the workshops, Mr Ross will be joined by Jeff Mason and Jason Kingsley-Willis who are both local, Senior Optometrists.
Learning outcomes: You will learn with up to date knowledge on the review, identification and management of adnexal, orbital and oculoplastic diseases.
